MCN-NIME INSTITUTE (MNI) is the certification body of Marine Club of Nigeria (MCN) for the Nigerian Maritime Economy (NIME) that MCN represents. For now, we issue two certificates: NIME Participation Certificate and NIME Practice Certificate. With our knowledge that the recipient is in the NIME and on his/her payment of the N30,000 NIME participation fee per annum, he/she is issued the NIME Participation Certificate. The NIME Practice Certificate is issued to those who have undergone our course of introduction to a wide range of maritime-economy subjects, which will equip them with better grasp of the maritime economy and their place in it. This 3-day course costs N175,000 to members of MCN and N195,000 to non-members (who must however already be participants in the NIME forum).
